The Ideal Candidate:
The Head of Public Relations and Partnerships will build global brand awareness for Ben Soleimani through strategic communications and high-profile events. Orchestrating earned media coverage through opportunities that generate extensive press, elevate our positioning in the industry, and give Ben Soleimani exposure to new audiences. The candidate will create a strong influencer marketing network, conducting media relations outreach and strategic PR planning, and managing our calendar of cross-branding digital partnerships. We are looking for an expert in securing strong content partners whose brand and user base closely align with the aesthetics and brand pillars of Ben Soleimani. Key components of this roles are also cultivating and executing PR strategies, crafting daily pitches and liaising with the media to communicate around various Ben Soleimani initiatives and messages.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and execute global press strategies that align with Ben Soleimani brand initiatives that include corporate, consumer, and trade/industry media.
  • Daily communication with press outlets to secure coverage by fulfilling sample and image requests, and ensuring press are up-to-date on brand stories and product launches.
  • Nurture and grow our community of media, VIPs, and brand loyalists by fostering relationships, planning unique brand experiences and securing valuable earned media coverage and content for the brand.
  • Brief and staff media interviews with executive leadership.
  • Develop strong relationships with the press to keep Ben Soleimani top of mind with the editorial community and drive earned media coverage.
  • Develop press materials including press releases, pitch announcements, and executive briefing materials for seasonal product launches, collaborations, new store openings, and other key brand initiatives.
  • Create seasonal press materials in partnership with the Creative team for domestic and international partners, assuring global brand alignment.
  • Support global marketing partners (company-owned and franchise) through creation of onboarding materials for new markets and seasonal PR materials for all markets.
  • Lead seasonal media product seeding program and partnerships, and in partnership with the Social Media team, identify influencer opportunities for national/regional campaigns and press events.
  • Strategize and execute VIP media influencer events and activations.
  • Oversee and distribute weekly, quarterly, and annual media coverage reports, as well as event recaps to executive leadership team, ensuring we are positioned to exceed goals for new user acquisition/ROI as well as down-funnel customer retention and engagement.
  • Support product collaboration strategy, partnering closely with the Merchandising and Product Development teams to help identify opportunities, negotiate, and manage relationship with partners, and work to manage cross-functional workflows.
  • Identify potential marketing opportunities from media outlets, influencers and other complementary brand partners and share opportunities with cross-functional marketing partners for evaluation, ensuring that all partners fit within the brand guidelines, and recruit them to drive new users to Ben Soleimani.
  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management.
  • Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with company’s contract guidelines and policies.
  • Build and manage department budget and work closely with Finance on monthly/quarterly forecasts.
  • Maintain all press databases and editorial contact lists.
  • Research and maintain media, blogger and influencer/VIP program.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or marketing.
  • Between 5-10 years of demonstrated success in public relations.
  • You have a proven ability to advise internal partners on communication strategy.
  • You have strong editorial contacts, preferably in the home décor/lifestyle space, and a strong consumer media relations skill with proven program results across print, broadcast and online outlets.
  • You possess the ability to act as a company spokesperson, skilled in both print and broadcast media interviews.
  • You have experience working with external partners and the ability to build relationships and creatively problem-solve.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for all company social media content.
  • Plan, build and execute a strong social media content strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest)
  • Develop and schedule creative content and campaigns via an editorial calendar across multiple accounts; ensuring all content is aligned with brand initiatives.
  • Deliver on defined organic growth and audience engagement goals for each platform.
  • Discover new influencer talent for collaborations, new content, and campaigns in synergy with our PR agency
  • Manage influencer program from contracts, execution, and reporting

3D VISUAL DESIGNER

What you’ll do:

  • Create highly realistic models and texture maps for different projects to be ready to use.
  • Collaborate with our creative director to create environment models, architecture, interior, props, lighting, and texturing.

PHOTO RETOUCHER

Ben Soleimani is looking for photo retouchers who are responsible for editing raw photographs with an emphasis on product photography and marketing photography.

What you’ll do:

  • Image retouching, color correction/shifting, clean up, outlining merging multiple images when needed, composting for placement on our site, publications, email campaigns, annual and quarterly catalogs, brochures, advertising, and more.
  • Responsible for maintaining high quality while executing a high volume of images under very tight deadlines.
  • Perform naming and archival of images according to agreed upon process of product photography, as well as marking photography.
  • Ability to receive creative direction from Creative Leads and make changes when necessary.
  • Proactive and able to show initiative to constantly improve the photo studio team.
  • Responsible for completion of work in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Editing/enhancing/retouching/resizing of E-commerce in-house product photography image files.
  • Accountable for maintaining an organized workflow and file management.
  • Quality control on all requests, fixing images as needed to meet direction or needs.
  • Responsible for retouching of images in the timeframes requested for each project.
  • Assisting head photographer on video and photo shoot sets (previous on set experience is a plus).
