OUTSIDE TRADES SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Location: Los Angeles

Employment Duration: Full-time

Position Type: Exempt


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE


Ben Soleimani is looking for smart and passionate outside sales representatives for our Los Angeles territory. This is a lucrative opportunity to help an established brand with a new point of view, grow and maintain a high-profile client-base and build its presence in the LA area. Our preference is for you to be based in or near Los Angeles where our showroom and office are located. You must have a high level of commitment, energy, self-direction, assertiveness and persistence. Reliable and adequate transportation is also required, with the ability to take on overnight travel as needed.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


• Work as a team with Senior Leadership to establish, meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals

• Calling new and existing clients to set up in-office and showroom visits

• Cultivate new clients and business by staying abreast with industry news, trends, projects, and networking at relevant industry events

• Develop meaningful relationships with high-level residential interior designers, architects and landscape architects to build repeat business

• Successfully maintain a full calendar of outside sales presentations

• Conduct organized follow-up for all presentations

• Develop effective and positive communication with the showroom and administrative office to ensure an exceptional customer service for our trade clients

• Expert knowledge of the interior design business and project cycle from specification-to-orders- to-installation

• Attend trade events as needed

• Methodically document activity levels in our CRM, including outbound call volume, in-office appointments, postcards/notes sent, etc.

• Ability to set objectives and exceed goals

• Maintain confidentiality of all company information, both internally and externally


WHO YOU ARE


• 5+ years preferred interiors and furniture sales environment

• Computer savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and knowledge of Salesforce systems

• Must possess exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and oral

• Tenacious with excellent follow up

• A keenly developed competitive nature

• Proven record of success with a rolodex of contacts

• Personal transportation
